Surface Mini enters production coming this summer, report

WASHINGTON: As Microsoft eyeing to launch its flagship mini tablet Surface Mini, now new report recons that the device enters mass production.

The report comes from famous tipster @evleaks which recommends that the device enter in mass production while tipster also revealed the summer season release for the device.

Microsoft haven’t unwrapped the device in company’s May 20 event in which, Surface Pro 3 debuts. The device have been rumored for long time. We have seen some leaked images few weeks before.

Reports earlier this year suggest that the Surface Mini will use an ARM processor because it offers better price points and longer battery life, instead of using more expensive Intel chips.

Current rumors claim the Surface Mini will run Windows RT just like the Surface Pro 3 and feature a 7.5-inch display with a resolution of 1400 x 1050 and a 4:3 aspect ratio. The Surface Mini is also expected to come in Wi-Fi and 4G LTE + Wi-Fi models, just like the Surface 2 will.
