WASHINGTON: We already know that Apple is gearing up to launch its flagship smartphone Apple iPhone 6, now new video leaked gives us the hint that company looking forward to use flexible display panels for the device.
Apple have been rumored for long time that company is working on two models of iPhone 6, and we have seen then constantly in leaked images.
According to AppleInsider, a new YouTube video rumored to come from a supplier in Hong Kong could offer the first glimpse at a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 front panel with a sapphire display.
The video shows what appears to be a white front panel from Apple’s upcoming smartphone, which is not only shown side-by-side with the latest iPhone 5S, but also sized up for good measure.
According to Techradar, Apple recently invested more than $500 million (about UK£292M, AU$534M) into a facility located in Arizona to produce sapphire, but executives have remained mum on exactly what those components might be used for.
One thing missing from the video is any sign of a 5.5-inch, phablet sized iPhone 6 front panel, although given the speed of product leaks for this year’s handsets, we’d expect that to follow soon enough.
