Pillion riding banned for two days in Lahore

LAHORE: Punjab government has imposed two-day ban on pillion riding in the provincial capital Lahore; commencing on Saturday (today) in view of special security arrangements on Youm-e-Ali.

Strict security arrangements are being made across the country during Youm-e-Ali, the martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali (R.A.) on Ramadan 21 according to Islamic calendar.

Pillion riding banned in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab province, with imposition of Section 144 while cellular services will also be suspended during 6:00am till 10:00pm in sensitive areas.

Metro bus services will be suspended from MAO College to Shahdara following new security plan released by Punjab government.
