LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi said on Monday that he will not take part in the upcoming polls scheduled to select PCB chairman.
PCB election is scheduled in the next month for the post of the board’s chairman.
Chairman PCB appointment case hearing was held in Supreme Court Lahore registry by two-member bench under the supervision of Anwar Zaheer Jamali, local media reported.
During the hearing, Chairman PCB said while recording his statement, “I am resigning as PCB chairman and I won’t be taking part in next month’s PCB chairman elections”.
He further said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif making him the member of management board in PCB.
Court giving remarks on the case stated that Chairman PCB matter belong to the sovereignty of the institution, who ever take charge it doesn’t matter t us.
