Sony Xperia Z2 goes on sale in US

WASHINGTON: If you are interested to buy latest range of Android smartphone, so you are in luck as Sony’s flagship smartphone Sony Xperia Z2 goes on sale in US.

Good news for US Sony smartphone lovers that company’s flagship smartphone Xperia Z2 available for $700 instead of regular $750.

Sony’s mobile efforts have been slowly but surely coming along, and the Z2 is its latest competitor to devices like Apple’s iPhone 5S and Samsung’s Galaxy S5. Still, Samsung and Apple are generating the vast majority of profits in the marketplace and Sony needs to find a way to break their control.

The Sony Xperia Z2 is one of the highest-end smartphones to come out this year. The handset sports a 5.2-inch full HD display with 1080p resolution, a powerful quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, a hefty 3GB of RAM, a 20.7-megapixel rear camera and a 2.2-megapixel front shooter. A large 3,200 mAh battery will keep things up and running. On the software side, the smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

Just like most of Sony’s latest devices, the Xperia Z2 is also dust- and water-resistant for extra durability.
