Tea time: South Africa trail 186 runs in first innings

COLOMBO: South Africa has made 234 runs losing their seven wickets up to tea time of day 3, but Proteas trail by 186 runs with three wickets remaining in the first innings of second Test.

Proteas skipper Hashim Amla, who is leading his second Test against Sri Lanka, knocked an outstanding century for first time against Asian Tigers.

Sri Lanka gave a 421 runs trail with help of Jayawardene 165 runs for South African batsmen but none of players could stay on pitch except Amla.
