Petroleum prices will not increase, PM Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Pakistan Mia Mohammad Nawaz Sharif on Monday rejected the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority’s (OGRA) summary of increase price of petroleum products in the month of August.

According to reports, Kerosene oil prices slashed down to 30 paisa while Petrol, Diesel and HOBC prices remained same.

Federal Minister of Petroleum said that Government has given the subsidy of 1.35 billion subsidy by not increasing the petroleum products prices.

Earlier, OGRA suggested in a summary to increase petrol’s prices up to Rs 1.34 per liter and increase up to Rs 0.35 per liter in diesel.
