Apple launches Intel powered MacBook Pro with Retina display

WASHINGTON: American technological giant Apple released its highly anticipated MecBook Pro with Retina display.

The device was expected to launch sometime in this month, which turns out to be true. The MacBook Pro is powered by Intel Haswell processors and, for the 15-inch models, more standard memory.

As mention on Apple’s online store, the device is upgraded to 200MHz CPU speed boosts across the line with Intel’s latest Core i5 and Core i7 processors.

The entry-level 15-inch model now comes with 16GB of RAM standard, doubling the previous 8GB configuration.

Prices remain steady except for the high-end 15-inch variant with discrete graphics, which gets a $100 price cut.

The 13 inches model of MacBook Pro starts from $1,299 which is powered by a dual core Intel core i5 processor clocked at 2.6GHz. It also features an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of PCIe-based flash storage.
