Moeen Ali faces ICC investigation on wearing Gaza support wristbands

SOUTHAMPTON: International Cricket Council (ICC) investigated Moeen Ali’s decision to wear wristbands in support of Gaza during the third test match against India on Monday, local media reported.

The cricketer risked a disciplinary action on Monday by wearing the wristbands in support of Gaza, reports said.

ICC regulatory authority prohibit players form displaying political, religious or racial statements on their clothes and other equipments while taking part in an international match.

On the other hand, other cricketers supported Moin Ali on this act at social media site Twitter.
