Will Hezbollah accept Hamas appeal to fight against Israel?

The Palestinian Islamist organisation Hamas directly appealed the Lebanese group Hezbollah for a joint fight against Israel after announcement of Hassan Nasrallah to support resistance in Gaza.

However, no development has been made till yet in shape of any announcement or visible steps for induction of Hezbollah militants in Gaza to start a joint-fight against Israel.

Hamas deputy head of political bureau, Mousa Abu Marzouk, had appealed the Lebanese Shitte Hezbollah to engage Israel from South Lebanon borders Israel.

Abu Marzouk told Russian news agency RIA Novosti that they hope the Lebanese front will open and together we will fight against Israel.

The Cairo-based Hamas official clarified, “There’s no arguing that the Lebanese resistance could mean a lot,”

The appeal emerged after chief of Lebanese group Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah’s, announcement in which he vowed for supporting resistance in Gaza.

Abu Marzouk also praised diplomatic and economic efforts of Qatar and Turkey for Gaza.

It is noteworthy to mention here that several rockets attacks were reportedly carried out from Lebanon since start of Israeli aggression in Gaza in order to show solidarity with Palestinian.

Following the attacks, Lebanese army and UN peacekeeping troops increased security measures at Israel-Lebanon bordering areas.
