Qualifying for Olympic Games Pakistan team’s hope turns to dreams

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan team failed to qualify for Olympic Games 2016 after the latest defeat in World Hockey Premier League 2015, on Wednesday.

Earlier, Pakistan finished third in pool A after playing a second consecutive 2-2 draw against France. Green shirts were to play pool B’s second-placed team in quarters.

Pakistan had a disappointing tournament so far as they had a solitary win in first game against Poland and two 2-2 draws against arch-rivals India and France; Pakistan also faced a 6-1 humiliating defeat against mighty Australia.
