ISLAMABAD – Senior politicians from different parties in Punjab joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Thursday, Thenewstribe.com reported.
Senior leader of Pakistan peoples Party, Taiq Anees formally joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf after meeting with Chairmain PTI Imran Khan on Thursday.
Local heavy weights from Punjab, including leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Q joined PTI just after a day when senior parliamentarians of PPP join hands with Imran Khan.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that same trend will enter in Sindh and Baloshistan soon.
Dost Muhammad Mazari, Tariq Anees, Chaudhry Shehbaz, Farukh Altaf, Fawad Chaudhry, Sohail Zafar and Zafar Cheema on Thursday decided to play under the political captaincy of Imtran Khan.
Barrister Shahid Masood, Mumtaz Johiya, Umar Sharif, Chaudhry Ali Akhtar and Umar Daloni also joined PTI.
Earlier, three former parliamentarians from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday.
According to details, former state minister Samsam Bukhari, Arif Lashari, Ashraf Sohna formally announced to join PTI in meeting with chairman PTI, Imran Khan at Banigala.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Jahangir tareen were also present there in meeting.
Sources told that former federal minister Nazar Gondal will also formally announced their joining in a press conference with Imran Khan at Banigala soon.
