Imran Farooq murder case: Suspects confess direct involvement

KARACHI: Two main suspects of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq murder case have confessed their direct involvement in front of joint investigation commission.

According to reports, accused Moazam Ali and Mohsin Ali have confessed their direct involvement in the murder in front of investigation commission and also named five leaders who were allegedly involved in the murder.

Mohsin Alis said he was present on the spot when Imran Farooq was killed while Kashif was the one who attacked MQM leader with the knife.

The plane of murder was finalised on MQM Chief Altaf Hussain’s birth day, he said.

“Moazam Ali Khan had sent me and Kashif to London,” he said during the investigation.

He revealed that he was a contract employee in Moazam’s company and was also a member of APMSO as well.

On the other hand Moazam Ali also confessed that he had sent Kashif and Mohsin to London and named five high level leaders of the party.

Khalid Shamim another suspect said that his duty was to let Mohsin and Kashif safe exit from the airport.
