ISLAMABAD – The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif, dispelled the impression that high officials usually prefer to stay at their respective offices instead of making visits to the fields.
General Raheel Sharif has proven that he not only complete the office work well in time but also makes consistent visits at to places suffered as result of terrorism or any other Natural disasters.
According to the information obtained by the most visited News web, The News Tribe, General Raheel Sharif is the only Army Chief who gives equal priorities to office work and field visits despite the tough routine of Ramadan.
Raheel Sharif, on the day of train incident, had been monitoring the relief works till late night in his office. The following day Raheel Sharif left for Gujranwala to attend the funeral prayer of the Army personnel martyred in the train incident.
The Chief of Army Staff, Raheel Sharif, then visited hospital to see the persons injured in the train incident. In the next few hours the chief was in Rawalpindi.
Sources said that the next morning Raheel Sharif left for Shawal area in North Waziristan where he met with Pakistan’s Army soldiers who were fighting the terrorists on front line.
