LAHORE – Captain of Pakistan hockey team resigned from his post just after the last match of World Hockey League 2015, on Sunday.
Muhammad Imran step down due to the poor performance of Pakistan team in the World Hockey League 2015. Pakistan team claimed 8th position in the tournament.
Imran said that team failed to perform well and he also told that Pakistan Hockey Federation provided all necessary facilities to the team players.
According to details, he formally informed the Pakistan Hockey Federation and said that now it is time to give chance to young players.
Sources told that head of Pakistan team also resigned from his post after the ordinary performance showed by the team players.
On Saturday, Pakistan hockey team’s chief selector, Islahuddin Siddiqui resigned from his post on Saturday due to the ordinary performance of team in World Hockey League 2015.
According to details, chief selector of Pakistan hockey team, Islahuddin Siddique resigned from his post because of poor performance showed by Pakistan team in World Hockey League 2015.
Some other members of Pakistan Hockey Federation, also resigned fro their posts.
In the last match of World Hockey League 2015, France beat Pakistan by 2-1 and Pakistan team failed to get at least seventh position in tournament.
