CHAMAN – Security forces recovered an explosives-laden motorcycle near Pak-Afghan boarder and foiled the terror bid in Chaman, on Monday.
According to details, security forces along with intelligence personnel recovered seven kilo gram explosive material and saved Chamman from another terrorist attack.
Frontier Corps (FC) also recovered huge amount of weapons from Dera Islamail Khan. FC recoverd 31 rocket-propelled grenades, rocket launcher, seven rifles, three hand grenades and two Kalashnikovs from two suspects.
Earlier, CCPO (Capital City Police Officer), Abdul Razzaq Cheema, said that coward attacks by terrorists would not reduce the passion of police to fight terrorism.
He expressed these views while addressing press conference in Quetta. He said,“In the past law enforcement agencies have eliminated the Taliban terrorists from Quetta. However they are again active, we are taking action against them,” CCPO said.
The statement comes after three people, including policeman, were killed when unidentified assailants opened fire on them in Quetta’s Joint road area on Monday morning.
The deceased policeman was identified as Kala Khan.
Police and Frontier Corps personnel arrived at the site of attack and initiated an investigation into the incident.
