CM Punjab vows to save the land from flood in future

KOT MITHAN –  Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif visited the fllod affected areas on Thursday and issued special directions to authorities.

Chief Minister of Punjab visited different flood affected areas of Punjab.  He also visited the flood hits areas of Kot Mithan and Rajanpur. During his visit officials briefed him about the rescue operation.

While talking to media persons, Shehbaz Sharif said that work on Dasu Dam is underway. He also told that government is spending billions to avoid flood in future.

He said that land acquisition of Basha Dam is also completed.  He issued special directions to officials and said that no stone to left un-turned to provide maximum relief to affectees.

On question, Shehbaz Sharif answered that sit-in caused huge loses to national economy. While talking about Judicial Commission report, he said that inquiry commission declared general elections 2013 free and fair.
