Government decides to present inquiry commission’s report in National Assembly

ISLAMABAD – Government decided to present inquiry commission’s report regarding rigging in General Elections 2013  in National Assembly of Pakistan.

Government will present the report and highlight the agreement settled between Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah also demanded to present the report in Parliament. Syed Khursheed Shah also said that both PML-N and PTI should accept the inquiry report according to their agreement.

On Thursday, Law Ministry published the report on official website which reveals that elections of 2013 held in accordance with law. 69 witnesses appear before commission.

Allegations of plan/design to rig polls remain un-sustained. Reports also indicate that irregularities found during process of election.

Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz, Talal Chaudhry said that Imran Khan must accept the inquiry report with open mind. He also said that “truth prevailed, flash hood perished.”
