MIANWALI: An earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale hit Kalabagh valley and surrounding areas on Tuesday evening, thenewstribe.com reported.
The tremors were also felt in neighbouring areas of the valley. No causality or life loss was reported till the filing of this report.
The epicenter of the earthquake was north-west, at a depth of 20km, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department.
Earlier on July 26, a mild earthquake jolted parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, including Mansehra, Abbottabad, Chitral and Swat.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake measured 5.6 on the Richter scale and the epicenter of the earthquake was Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
