LOS ANGELES – Pakistani wimmer Aqsa Janjua won silver medal on Wednesday in Special Olympics 2015.
Pakistan’s special Olympian, Aqsa Janjua won the silver medal for Pakistan in 50 meters freestyle swimming in on going Special Olypics 2015 at Los Angeles.
Earlier, Pakistan’s special Olympian Asim Zar has Tuesday won first ever gold medal in Special Olympics 2015 inside the Uytengsu Aquatics Centre at University of Southern California.
Asim Zar also won the Special Olympics Summer Games in Division M14 of the swimming final but was later disqualified for unknown reasons and Jamaica’s Jonathan Lowe was awarded the gold.
The 27-year-old was a star athlete at the 2007 Special Olympics in China, bagging two silver medals in 400 metre race and long jump.
