SKARDU: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Skardu on Thursday to visit different flood hit areas of Chitral Valley.
According to details, PM reviewed ongoing relief activities in flood hit areas. He met flood affectees and distributed ration among them.
National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) distributed 15 tons of ration and bottled water among the flood affectees.
The rations were transported through C-130 planes. At least 80 tourists also were evacuated from flood hit areas with help of Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
Five utility stores have also been established on the instruction of PM Nawaz Sharif.
