SECP cancels NGO’s license

ISLAMABAD: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has cancelled license of many Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs) working in Pakistan.

According to SECP sources, the licenses of NGOs were cancelled for not complying with the corporate laws.

Beside Mir Khalil-ur-Rehman Foundation, SECP has suspended licenses of some prominent NGOs that include Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Foundation, Karachi Golf Club and Karachi Race Club.

Among commercial organizations licenses of Pak-Japan Business Forum, Pak-Poland Business Forum, Bilawal Foundation and Habib Foundation has been suspended.
