BERLIN: International media has stated that current operation against corruption in Sindh, Pakistan and arrests of few high-profile people can further heat up the political environment of Pakistan.
According to reports, most of the senior leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) are under serious pressure due to allegations of corruption, few days back security agencies arrested Dr Asim Hussain, close aide of former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, over corruption charges and he was also accused of supporting terrorists.
Also, local court in Karachi has issued warrants to arrest former Premier Yousuf Raza Gillani and senior leader PPP Amin Fahim.
This situation has caused many troubles for PPP so few of their senior leaders flew away from country.
Asif Ali Zardari and many other senior leaders from PPP have criticized government on this situation and it seems like government is all hands up to this situation.
Federal Minister to Information Parvez Rasheed replied to all reservations and said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was not doing the politics of revenge and they will address all the reservations of PPP.
According to experts, like Karachi operation, this operation against corruption is also in not in the hands of government and Pakistan Army is handling all the operation.
