KP govt to launch 400 megawatts hydrel projects: Atif Khan

ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Minister Atif Khan here on Tuesday said that the provincial government is initiating 400 megawatts hydrel projects to overcome the energy crisis in the province.

He was addressing a news conference along with Information Minister Mushtaq Ghani and Asad Umar in response to Danial Aziz’s allegations that the KP govt has gambled development funds in stock exchange.

 Atif Khan said that the hydrel projects will be completed within the next two months. He said that the previous government has launched 56 megawatt project.

Mushtaq Ghani said that the provincial government has not spent a single penny in stock exchange. He said that the allegations are completely baseless.
