MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has apologized all Pakistani people and artists over his controversial statement at the releasing time of his recent movie Phantom.
According to details, Bollywood Nawab said he has worked with many Pakistani artists and has loads of respect for all Pakistani people and artists, he was never meant to hurt their feelings.
Saif said “First of all I’m nobody to say that I have faith or don’t have faith in a country in general. My comments were made purely in terms of censorship. In the forum that we were discussing things we were told that the film is being banned before the censors have seen it. So my comment was purely in light of that. I’ve made 50 other comments in my own way trying to support our relationship with Pakistan.”
It is to be kept in mind that Bollywood star gave a controversial statement about Pakistan few days back in which he said he lost his faith in Pakistan and since after he has been under serious criticism by Pakistani people and artists then Pakistan Censor Board has banned his all movies in Pakistan but now he has apologized over his harsh statement against Pakistan.
