MANCHESTER: With the heroics of James Taylor, England on Tuesday have managed to post a sizable total of 300/8 in third of the five-match ODI series against Australia at Old Trafford, Manchester.
After winning an important toss, captain Morgan decided to bat first. Openers proved the decision right as the first England wicket fell on 53 in 10th over of the match.
James Taylor came in to batted he with full responsibility, courtesy to his hundred, England posted 300 runs on the board.
After losing two back to back matches in the series, England are left with last chances to remain in the series.
It would be interesting to see how World Champions Australia pursue the target, as they previously have scored 300+ in both matches of the series.
