LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday has taken action against the Provincial Education Minister of Punjab, Rana Mashood over corruption scandal.
According to details, education minister is expected to be called on in next few days and if he failed to present himself in front of NAB he can be arrested.
NAB has asked for a complete video record related to Rana Mashood’s corruption.
While Mashood told media that the video scandal was a practical joke and a baseless allegation and it was nothing but a campaigning.
He also stated that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has already handled a complete inquiry for this matter and a decision has also been given by the Lahore High Court.
He told that he was lawyer before he came to politics and he had never committed any kind of corruption and nor he supported this act.
Meanwhile, sources have revealed that Rana Mashood is being pressurized by Punjab Government to resign from his post over corruption allegations.
