ISLAMABAD – Nation is observing 67th death anniversary of founder of Pakistan‚ Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Friday.
Seminars and ceremonies being held to pay tribute to the leader. Different sittings of Quran Khawani would also be held on this occasion countrywide including the one at the mausoleum of the Quaid in Karachi.
Political figures, armed forces, officials, and citizens will visit Quaid’s mausoleum Fatiha Khwani.
Different functions will be held in public and private organisations and educational institutes to highlight different aspects Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s life.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on 25 December 1876 in Karachi. Under his leadership Muslims of Sub-continent struggled for the establishment of Pakistan. He was the first governor general of Pakistan.
