KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement will observe a day of mourning on Saturday against the “extra-judicial killing of three workers near Northern Bypass”, Dr Farooq Sattar announced.
In a press conference at Nine Zero on Friday, Dr. Farooq Sattar said that his party would take out a rally from Liaqabad to Mazar-e-Quaid on Sunday.
“We appeal to traders and transporters to suspend their business activities tomorrow (Saturday),” he appealed.
Dr Farooq Sattar said that three MQM workers, who were in the custody of Rangers since four months, were killed extra-judicially last night. A fourth worker, he alleged, was killed by Haqiqi terrorists.
Earlier, DG Rangers Bilal Akbar called upon the people of Karachi to save their children from becoming target killers.
Meanwhile, Rangers have warned MQM against any kind of forced shut down of businesses and markets tomorrow or it will be treated ‘strictly’.
