KARACHI: Indo-Pak war has been the hot topic of Pakistani media for weeks as Indian aggression on Line of Control (LoC) and violation of Working Boundary has shockingly increased in last few months.
Meanwhile, Indian Army Chief last week ordered its army to be ready for a limited war with Pakistan, to which Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif responded befittingly that “Be it hot or cold start, conventional or conventional, we are ready for any kind of war.”
The current scenario seems perfect for any probable escalation from neighboring country, but famous journalist and anchorperson Saleem Safi does think the other way.
According to his calculations, he says, “There are no chance of war between Pakistan and India,” and he offers an interesting reason for that.
Salim Safi claims that there cannot be a war between India and Pakistan despite the current heated situation because Zaid Hamid, the provocative speaker, as he says, is jailed in Saudi Arabia.’
“Has he been in Pakistan, provoking nation for war, what he calls ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ there must have been a war?”
