RAWALPINDI – Karachi Blues set a mammoth total of 178 runs for Peshawar Region to win the final of National T20 tournament on Tuesday.
Karachi Blues opted to bat first against Peshawar Region and set a huge target courtesy Sarfraz Ahmed’s aggressive inning.
Shahid Afridi failed to produce strong punch in the final. Opener Khuram Manzoor played inning of 41 runs but on the other hand Shahzaib Hassan lost his wicket without scoring any run.
Khalid Latif also showed some resistance and scored 23 runs. Shahid Afridi put 15 runs on score board. Imran Junior showed brilliant bowling spell again two wicket and remain leading wicket taker of tournament.
Now, Peshawar Region need 179 runs to snatched the match from Karachi Blues.
