ICC gives green signal to Tendulkar-Warne T20 series

DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has given its green signal to go ahead with the three-match T20 series promoted by Legendary Cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne in the United States.

According to details, ICC’s clearance for the series came after negotiations with the two legends. Former legendary batsman Tendulkar played a key role to get a ‘yes’ from ICC for the series.

One of sources closed to this development has revealed that “It will be held in November and the ICC doesn’t have a problem with that. It has spelt out a few conditions to Tendulkar and Warne and they have agreed to abide by them.”

This series will include legendary names of cricket from all around the world like Rahul Dravid, Glenn McGrath, Jacques Kallis, Adam Gilchrist, Sourav Ganguly , Brian Lara, VVS Laxman and Wasim Akram.

All the matches of three match series will be played in Baseball ground in USA and Sachin Tendulkar is very hopeful that this series will attract huge crowd to the ground as it contains a huge fan following names in it.

It is pertinent to mention here that portion of the earnings from series will go to the ICC and that in turn will be used in the promotion of the game in USA.
