Arrested from Wagah Border, spies shown to media

LAHORE: Two Indian spies arrested near Wagha Border area were shown in front of media on Thursday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

The suspects are reported to have  been taking directions from Indian intelligence agencies.

According to police, apprehended suspects Waqas and Ghulam Shabbir were crossing border to meet Indian handlers Saleem who in turn would have taken the suspects to Amritsar.

Both suspects were taking instructions from officers of Indian intelligence agency RAW. The suspects had been tasked with establishing contact with banned organizations.

Suspects were charging Rs 300,000 to establish contact with high level officers. The suspects were also involved in smuggling and selling of alcoholic drinks. Multiple memory cards and SIMs were confiscated while pictures of Sialkot Working Boundary were also found in possession.

The suspects have been taken into custody 2 days ago.
