LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf on Tuesdaty has formally submitted a plea demanding re-elections in National Assembly seat (NA-122) under the supervision of Army, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
PTI in its plea has accused Punjab police of favoring Muslim Legue Nawaz (PML-N) in the constituency and creating hurdles in PTI’s campaign.
RO has forwarded PTI’s plea to Chief Election Commission office.
Earlier, Imran Khan in his press conference had stated that the police is campaigning for PML-N candidat Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, former speaker National Assembly in NA-122.
Ayaz Sadiq was disqualified by Election Tribunal.
