LODHRAN: Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) former federal minister Mirza Nasir Baig on Monday has announced to join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
While talking to a press conference along with (PML-N) Member National Assembly Abdur Rehman Khan Kanju and member Punjab Assembly Malik Sajjad Khan Joyia, former PPP leader said that he worked for the party for the last 37 years but he and party’s die-hard workers were left alone.
While announcing to join the governing party, he said that he will support the (PML-N) candidate in NA-154 Umair Khan Baloch and he will win.
Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s former MNAs, MPA and ticket holders had announced to support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Jahangir Tareen for NA-154 by-elections.
Polling will be held at the constituency on the October 11. The main contest is between (PML-N) leader Umair Khan Baloch and Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf’s (PTI) Jahangir Tareen.
