DUBAI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is mulling to appoint all-time batting legend Sir Viven Richard as batting coach of Pakistan cricket team.
According to sources, he can initially be appointed for two major assignments of Asia Cup T20 and World Twenty20 starting from next month in India.
According to reports, Azhar Mahmood will replace current bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed before International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 Cricket World Cup, 2016.
Mushtaq Ahmed will likely to appoint as head coach of National Cricket Academy (NCA). The post of NCA is vacant as Mohammad Akram resigned from his post.
Sources have also revealed that PCB has already asked ICC for permission make changes in management.
