DUBAI: Struggling but star studded Karachi Kings will take on Misbah led Islamabad United in the second play off of Pakistan Super League on Saturday.
Karachi Kings struggled throughout the event and now a new controversy has hit the Karachi dug out that their regular skipper Shoaib Malik has stepped down from captaincy and now English star Ravi Bopara is likely to lead Karachi in the play off game.
Karachi Kings has bagged only two victories in the opening round of the event but they were lucky enough to reach the play offs courtesy to poor performance of Lahore Qalandars which already has been ruled out of the event.
Islamabad United on the other end were 50-50 with respect to their performance in the event but their side is quite capable of defeating any opponent as they have players like Misbah, Brad Haddin and Andre Russel who can single handedly change the result with their abilities.
Spectators witnessed a crunchy match yesterday between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators which Quetta won by 1 run on the last ball of the match, all eyes on Karachi and Islamabad now as the loser will be out of the event and winner will have to fight for final slot against Peshawar Zalmi.
Match will start at 9 Pm PST.
