Great players rarely make great managers, but Zinedine Zidane is intent on being an exception.
The Frenchman has won every honour Football has to offer with the ball under his feet and now he has set his eyes on all the titles with being a manager.
There wouldn’t be any hesitation if we call him the greatest midfielder of his time. He is famous for his left-footed volley against Bayern Leverkusen in the Champions League 2002 Final.

It was his first major tournament in his managerial career, and he has already won the UEFA Champions League within six months and became the first player to win the Champions League both as player and manager.
Since Zidane has took over Real Madrid, they have taken more point than anyone else in the League but somehow left behind Barcelona with the difference of 1 point, fighting till the last day of the season.
After the Rafa Benitez’s departure, Real Madrid’s main objective was Champions League since the hopes of getting La Liga was quite low and the way Barcelona was winning matches it seems to be quite impossible too, but nobody thought that at the end of the season, only a point would be separating the two highly-ranked teams.
Many Players expressed that how Zidane changed their fortune after taking over the management, giving them the freedom, as this wasn’t the case in Rafa Benitez time, but after Zidane took over things seemed to be changing magically.
At the start of the season nobody would’ve thought of seeing Real Madrid playing the final of the League. But, the only good decision of replacing Benitez with Zidane turned out to be a history-making decision.
Though, Zidane played his part to help Madrid win the title, and everyone seems to be in no-second-though mood, but the main question is that is he going to keep the momentum in his second season?
The summer could prove to be very important for the Club. Zidane’s main objective is not letting any star player depart from the Club this summer and one or two classy signings would be great for the club to strengthen their squad more.
Well, that’s surely worth asking but the at the moment we can’t say anything, the expectations are quite high from Real Madrid from around the world as they will kick their season off as the Champions of Europe, the pressure will surely be on them.
But that’s not the new thing for a Club who already crowned 11 times Champions of Europe and for a manager who has won the every major title as a player and now keen of winning it as a manager too.
Let’s see how Real Madrid defends their Champions League title, since no club has ever lifted back to back League titles but Zidane intent on being an exception.
