Ramadan 2016 calendar: Sehri and iftar time for Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta

LAHORE: The holy month of Ramadan (Ramadan 2016) is most has started today (Tuesday, June 7) in Pakistan, and will continue for thirty days till July 6. Many Muslims wonder what time they have to keep and break fast. But, don’t worry folks, We have brought you detailed calendar that tells exact Sehri and Iftar time in your city.

Given blow is detailed calendar for Ramadan 2016 with Sehri and Iftar timings of Major cities of Pakistan.

Some cities of the country including Islamabad and Lahore will even observe sixteen-hour long fast, while some parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Peshawar will observe more than fifteen and a half hour of fast duration.

Ramadan 2016 started today on June 7, and will last for thirty days till July 6 2016, as chairman Ruet e Hilal Committee, Mufti Munib ur Rehman announced yesterday.

At the end of the month of Ramadan Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, a Islamic festival, on first Shawwal (tenth month of Islamic calendar), which is consider as a gift from God to those who fast.

The day commence with congregation of Eid-prayer and then people say Eid greeting to each other, and children get money (eidi) from their elders.
