MANCHESTER: Pakistan are ready to take on England in the first and last T20 match of the series Wednesday at Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester.
On paper, England are a stronger side of shorter format, but Pakistan have every trick up their sleeves to turn the table on hosts.
So far both teams have faced off twelve matches, out which England won 9, whereas Pakistan could only manage to win 3 games so far.
If we look at England’s lineup, they have all the stars in their side who led them to World Twenty20 final few months back.
They have batsman like Joe Root, Alex Hales, Morgan and Roy, and all-rounders like Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes, Liam Plunket and Chris Jordan. They have depth in their bowling lineup and even more depth in their batting department.
It can be said that, they have a desired squad for modern day cricket for all three formats, but they are most destructive in shortest format of cricket.
