Sister of PIA pilot reveals crashed plane was in bad condition

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) plane carrying 47 passengers along with crew members crashed in a village near Havelian on the way to Islamabad from Chitral.

Renowned Islamic scholar and social activist Junaid Jamshed and his wife were also on board the crashed aircraft. According to ISPR, 36 bodies have been recovered from the site of the accident.

A Twitter user Sarah, who claimed to be the brother of a PIA pilot, reveals her brother had told his family that the crashed PIA aircraft was of poor condition.

“My brother is a captain he flew this ATR-42 a few days ago and was telling us about its bad condition,” she tweeted.

Her shocking revelation drew an angry response from Tweets who deplored the PIA management for its failure to ground the plane.
