BRISBANE: Starc and Hazlewood ran through Pakistan batting lineup to restrict them to 97/8 at the stumps of Day 2 of the first Test at The Gabba.
Both starc and Hazlewood took three wickets each, while Bird sent two batsmen home.
Pakistan lost 8 of their wickets for just 67 runs. Seven out of eight batsmen were caught in the slip cordon.
Pakistan Seasoned batsmen Younis Khan earned a duck, while skipper Misbah ul Haq returned to the pavilion with just four runs.

Sarfaraz Ahmed (31*) was the highest scorer from Pakistan, Amir was not out for 7 on the other end. The duo will resume Pakistan innings from 97/8.
Green Caps are feared to be enforced follow-on.
Earlier, Australia posted a mighty total of 429 runs on the board. Skipper Steve Smith scored his 14th Test hundred before falling prey to quick Wahab on 130 individual score.
His partner Handscomb also crossed the century mark today, his debut hundred and finally got out on 105.
Besides, Renshaw (71) and Warner (32), no other batsman could add a significant contribution to the Aussie total.
