LAHORE: Senior journalist and known critics of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, Rizwan Razi, was picked from Lahore today.
Reportedly, the senior journalist was picked up by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on cyber-crime charges.
On Saturday morning, some plain-clothed men came to Rizwan Razi’s Lahore residence and took him along with them.
Later, a son of Razi wrote on his facebook wall: “I, the son of Rizwan Razi, writing this. Today morning some people picked up my father and pushed him into a vehicle and drove away.”
Senior journalist Tala Hussain took to Twitter and said that senior journalist Rizwan Razi has been picked by FIA on cybercrime charges.

Rizwan Razi is a senior Lahore-based journalist, who remained associated with leading newspapers, and TV channels in different capacities. He is among the vocal critics of PTI government on social media.
Family sources said that the journalist was facing threats and intimidations from different quarters for quite some time.
