Under one sky: Pakistan Achievement Awards 2019 brings stars together

LONDON, UK: After celebrating nine years of achievements of Pakistanis living overseas and in Pakistan, Samara Events UK presented the much-awaited 10th Annual Pakistan Achievement Awards 2019, held in London on Sunday, August 18, 2019.

The event honoured the achievements of prominent Pakistanis from across the globe in the fields of politics, entertainment, business, sports, arts and culture. Pakistan Achievement Awards 2019, dedicated the event to Kashmir.

As expected it was a glamorous evening where celebrities and the best Pakistani talent came together all under one roof at Hotel Ibis, Earl’s Court in London.

Some of the prominent celebrities who graced the event included Humayun Saeed, Imran Ashraf, Faysal Qureshi, Ahmed Ali Butt, Behroze Sabzwari, Javed Sheikh, Jan Rambo, Aijaz Aslam, legend Sohail Ahmed, Momal Sheikh, Sahiba Rambo, Sana Fakhar, Ayesha Sana, Nida Yasir, Rabi Pirzada, Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom, Waseem Badami, Iqrar Ul Hasan and Shams Ul Haq amongst many others. Several ministers and politicians were present on the occasion.

The event began with stars walking down the red carpet in gorgeous ensembles, conversing with the media and sharing their excitement for the 10th Edition of The Pakistan Achievement Awards 2019.

This was followed by a welcome note and the national anthems of both Pakistan and the UK were played after which a throwback journey of the 10 years of Pakistan Achievement Awards was screened.

Waseem Badami was declared best Ramzan transmission anchor, Iqrar Ul Hassan as the best programme Sar-e-aam host, Faisal Qureshi as the best male morning show host and Nida Yasir as the best female morning show host and Shams Ul-Haq as the best investigative journalist from Europe. Shams Ul-Haq is associated with German national TV ZDF. He has also launched an institute for journalists in Lahore.
